Juliette Schlegl was born and raised in Africa, more precisely in western Cameroon. French is your mother tongue.

The author was one of those children who always want to have a book on hand. Her youth in Africa in the context of a very poor and typically extended family was especially shaped by her grandmother with love. Later, when you came to Germany, you became one of those people who always have their nose in a book. She studied in Berlin, Cologne and London, worked in Ireland and Germany and now lives as a financial accounting expert with her daughter in Munich. She published her first book in the United States in 2012. Good night, sweet mom and friends, is your first children’s book to be published in Germany.
